Srujana Kaddevarmuth is a machine learning evangelist. She has held numerous positions in the data science and Artificial Intelligence in the technology & consumer industry. Currently as a Senior Director at Walmart she leads its Data & Machine Learning Center of Excellence (COE).She leads the charter of developing and deploying machine learning solutions at the enterprise scale. She is accountable for revenue, profits and customer experience of Walmart’s flywheel consisting of new and emerging businesses of consumer Adtech, membership and data monetization. Ms. Kaddevarmuth drives Artificial intelligence innovation for this Fortune one company with $600 Billion annual revenue and is helping the organization move up the value chain through data democratization & AI productization. With over 15 years of technology leadership experience in the industry she brings expertise in AI powered recommender systems enabled by generative AI.
Developed and deployed AI Powered System for Site Asset Management through Page-Curation, Life-Cycle Optimization & Ranking solutions to drive business value. As an innovator she holds numerous U.S patents in data science domain and has numerous publications in elite forums like Harvard Publishing & INFORMS. Srujana has held positions with Walmart, Accenture, and Hewlett Packard all in data & AI leadership capacities.
With Doctoral Program (Data & AI Innovations), She has earned Master of Business Administration degree in Operational Research & Marketing & engineering degree for graduation. She is an internationally certified project management professional, an Executive graduation in Analytics Strategy Management from Harvard University, and completed the Executive Program for Women Leaders at Stanford University.
Ms. Kaddevarmuth is an ardent believer of inclusion and diversity and has been actively involved in international initiatives to increase gender diversity in the male dominant technology & data science domain. She serves as an ambassador, organizing committee member of Stanford University’s global Women in Data Science Initiative that has 100,000+ beneficiaries across 175 countries. She is a co-founder of Women in Machine Learning & Data Science (WiMLDS) Bengaluru chapter.
Being an avid Advocate of using data science & AI for social good she serves on the board of United Nations Association, SF chapter in using AI to attain global sustainable goals. She is also a governing council members of Granter Evanta’s Chief Data & Analytics Officers (CDAO) Community.
She was born in India and relocated to San Francisco many years ago. She is happy to call Silicon Valley, California her home.
